Driveaway Services
Call us anytime your business requires the interstate movement of large-wheeled highway equipment. Vacuum trucks, utility trucks, cement mixers, truck-mounted cranes — any specialty truck you can imagine, we haul it. Our Kansas City-based driveaway service transports vehicles throughout the United States and Canada. We move new trucks from manufacturing plants, outbound and return vehicles for the rental markets and a wide range of used equipment.

We assign an on-site event management supervisor who works with you from the initial quote through show day. They provide expert advice and professional oversight of your event, acting on your behalf in the shipping, set-up, break-down and reload of your display.
We give you even more exposure when you use Group One’s show truck services. Let us custom-paint one of our enclosed trailers before transporting your display. Traveling coast-to-coast, fellow travelers will notice your show truck’s distinctive design. Left on-site during the event, the logo-labeled trailer serves as additional attention-grabbing signage.

Specialized Freight Trucking Services
Not everything fits in a crate. And if it does, that’s not always the best way to transport it. So, we customize our freight trucking services to protect your cargo better.
We’ve developed methods of packing and shipping your freight that both decrease load-in/ load-out time and ensure the safe delivery of your product. We offer pad wrap, and our fleet includes customized trailers with load bars, lift gates and decking capabilities. In addition, we’ve built hoists to lift and gently move products on and off trailers, including roller and platform systems that ease the loading and unloading of everything from motorcycles to ATVs and jet skis.
To meet the unique demands of the trade show industry, we offer air-ride freight trailers that safely carry a wide variety of goods. Our trailers also boast built-in belly boxes for under-trailer storage, thereby increasing storage space and better securing your cargo.
Warehousing
Group One’s Kansas City terminal is located in the nation’s center, with easy access to all major highways. It boasts a 7-acre footprint and includes 130,000 square feet of storage space: 65,000 square feet of indoor warehouse space and the rest covered outdoor storage.
Our secure warehouse facility holds everything from trade show materials to short- or long-term palletized storage — just about any non-perishable item you need to store. We house products for quick stops between shows. We also assist with long-term distribution and logistics.
